New York-based Yue Isa Wang brings a broad background to photography that makes her skilled in both fashion and fine-art genres. Along with professional work as a stylist, editor, and producer, she has extensive experience in video and video production. As a fashion vlogger on Xiaohongshu, China’s version of Instagram, Wang accumulated over 20,000 followers. She recently earned her Master’s in Digital Photography from New York’s prestigious School of Visual Arts, where she created her latest work, a video piece for which she converted black-and-white photographs into stop-action images to explore her dream life and its associated feelings of fear and anxiety. This piece, called Nightmare, will be shown in fall 2022 at Manhattan’s SVA Gramercy Gallery.
